Happy Mother's Day

Today is a day to say thank you to all our mums for the kind things they say and do for us throughout the year. But as people with diabetes I think we have even more to be grateful to them for.
Speaking from my own experience my Mum was there in the hospital with me when I got diagnosed at 13. She was at every hospital appointment, training session and athletics meet throughout my teenage years. And even now as an adult. For the good days and the bad days she is always there encouraging me and making me feel special inspite of having diabetes.
Thank you Mum, today's the day to let you know how special you are!
