Spare a Rose, Save a Life Update

At the start of February I blogged about the International Diabetes Federation's initiative to take the cost of a rose on Valentine's Day and to gift it as a donation to help save the lives of children who didn't have access to the essential diabetes treatment they need to survive. Below is an update of how the event got on, they received over 600 donations from 23 different countries raising a grand total of $24,229. Most importantly this sum was enough to help keep 401 children alive for one year! Thank you very much for your support in reaching this total!
