Upcoming: Life Sciences Hub Event on Diabetes

I'm really excited to have been asked to present at the upcoming Life Sciences Hub event on Diabetes, in Cardiff, on Thursday 14th October 2016. I'll be speaking about my diabetes journey, and overcoming the hurdles it can create, in order to achieve sporting success.

But I won't be the only speaker on the day, there are some really engaging presentations that are also planned for the event. These will include;

- A talk from Diabetes Research Unit Cymru on current research into the condition
- A talk from a diabetes service champion
- Approaches to the clinical challenge of foot disease
- Astrazeneca will be speaking on their vision in type 2 diabetes
- A speech on innovation in health and life sciences
