Big Collection Weekend Big Donation Announcement

As I mentioned in the blog - Sharing is Caring the Big Collection Success, Diabetes Uk teamed up with supermarket retailer Tesco, to have one massive weekend of volunteers collecting money for the charity. Although as of today there were 50 stores still to check out their totals, Diabetes UK have managed to raise a life changing amount of £370,000 from the event. This money will be put towards research into a possible vaccine for people in the stages of pre-diabetes for example.
