Diabetes Donations This Christmas

In the run up to Christmas many of us find ourselves rushing about different shopping centres in preparation for the gifts we plan to buy our loved ones. Millions of pounds are spent every year on the high street in finding that perfect gift for those we care about. And although we might not want to admit it all the time, for those of us with diabetes the perfect gift for Christmas would probably be a cure for the condition altogether. And although santa is pretty excellent and can with the help of his reindeers and elves deliver almost anything, a cure to diabetes might be a bit of a big ask.

But one thing you can do this festive time to help with the effort towards a cure is to donate your spare change to the Diabetes UK Christmas installation. Located on the bottom floor of the Capital shopping centre in Cardiff is a lovely Christmas scene with eskimos and their sleigh's and polar bears with presents. All in aid of raising awareness of the condition during the holiday season and raising donations towards support, care and finding a cure. So whilst out shopping think about going without a coffee break whilst out shopping and donate what spare change you might have to Diabetes UK!

Thanks!
