Diabetes UK Cymru: Truth About Diabetes And Exercise Conference

I've been given permission to tell you about an exciting update, regarding an upcoming conference to be held in Wales about sport and diabetes! It's going to be at Swansea University on June 18th 2016, and I feel honoured to have been asked to speak about my experiences of living with type 1 and managing elite level sport.

However, the program will also include a number of fantastic healthcare professionals, and other athletes with type 1 diabetes giving their insight into the condition and managing exercise. To my knowledge it's the first conference of its kind to be held in Wales, and what's even better, is that the event is free of charge!
